BIOGRAPHY

Ryan Willetts, owner/carpenter of Riverside Construction Inc. has been working on renovations and construction projects since 2001.

He began his General Carpenters apprenticeship through Conestoga College and graduated with honours at Algonquin College. Ryan also successfully achieved a red seal carpenter’s certificate (licensed carpenter).

Upon graduation from college, Ryan worked for several different companies while training, learning new skills and knowledge along the way. Building the proper skill set and learning the industry provided a strong foundation for opening his own company in 2008.

Ryan started Riverside Construction Inc. in 2008, in Ottawa, Ontario while his wife attended medical school. After their four years in Ottawa, they moved to Hamilton to be closer to family. Initially, Ryan initiated his business as the only employee. Thanks to many great customers and positive word of mouth referrals, the company quickly grew. Riverside Construction now has six full-time employees and several subcontractors.

He enjoys working and raising his family in the Hamilton area, with his wife, a local physician. His favourite pastimes include running, hiking, canoeing and spending time with his family.
