Design Approach

This project involved a substantial addition to a century home, introducing a new primary suite alongside an expanded kitchen and sitting area designed to better support everyday living. The renovation was thoughtfully planned to preserve the home’s historic character while integrating modern functionality and carefully selected finishes throughout both the existing and newly constructed spaces.

Large windows were incorporated to strengthen the connection to the surrounding landscape and bring natural light deeper into the home, while the chef’s kitchen was designed for both performance and comfort. The result is a seamless, well-balanced addition that enhances daily routines while maintaining the timeless charm of the original residence.
